Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Magnet Pixel's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.

2. Services Provided

Magnet Pixel provides:

  • Custom website design and development
  • Website maintenance and support
  • Web consulting and strategy services
  • Related web development services

3. Project Process

3.1 Quotations: All project quotes are estimates and may be adjusted based on project scope changes.

3.2 Deposits: A 50% deposit is required to begin work on any project.

3.3 Revisions: Each package includes a specified number of revision rounds. Additional revisions will be billed hourly.

3.4 Timeline: Project timelines are estimates and depend on client feedback and content delivery.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide timely feedback and content
  • Have ownership rights to all provided materials
  • Make payments according to agreed schedule
  • Provide access to necessary hosting and domain accounts

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Invoicing: Invoices are payable within 7 days of receipt.

5.2 Late Payments: Late payments may incur a 5% monthly fee and project suspension.

5.3 Refunds: Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Ownership: Upon full payment, clients own the final website files. Magnet Pixel retains rights to reusable code components and design techniques.

6.2 Portfolio Use: We reserve the right to showcase completed projects in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Warranties and Limitations

7.1 Warranty Period: We guarantee our work for 30 days after project completion for bug fixes.

7.2 Third-Party Services: We are not responsible for issues with third-party services (hosting, domains, etc.).

7.3 Limitation of Liability: Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with 14 days written notice. Client remains responsible for payment of work completed.

9. Confidentiality

We will keep all client information confidential and will not share it with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States.
